"Finally, dinners my family won’t complain about"
I like that I can swap meals around and skip the ones my kids absolutely would never touch, because apparently that’s my life now. It makes dinner planning way less annoying, which is saying something. So far, no complaints from anyone, miraculously.

"Good value most weeks, but I’d like a credit when it falls short"
I’ve ordered from Chefs Plate a few times now, and for the most part it’s been decent for the price. The portions are usually enough for me, and I do like that it saves me from buying a bunch of random groceries I might not use. Some of the meals are a bit basic, but they’re still usually cheaper and easier than getting takeout. That said, when a meal feels underwhelming or something isn’t quite right, I do think a small credit or some kind of compensation would be fair. Overall, it’s good value most weeks, just not perfect.

In the end, I’d say the meals were mostly good, but I’m a little hesitant to order meat again. Most weeks, the food tasted totally fine and I didn’t have any issues. But one box showed up with the ice packs almost melted, and the chicken felt warmer than I was comfortable with, so I ended up tossing it just to be safe. Customer service did give me a credit, which I appreciated, but it still made me nervous. Not a bad experience overall, I just wish the cold packaging was more reliable...

"Pretty easy to use"
The website and app are sorta simple to get around. I can pick my meals quickly and skip weeks without having to dig around too much.

"Good meals, but the instructions could use some work"
I do like most of the meals, and they usually turn out good, but the recipe cards aren’t always as clear as I’d like. Some steps feel a little rushed, like they assume you already know what they mean, which, i sometimes don’t. A few small details seem to be missing here and there, so I end up guessing and hoping for the best. It’s not a dealbreaker or anything, but it does make cooking take longer than I expected. Overall, it’s fine and I’ll keep using it, but clearer directions would make a big difference.

"Works where I live, mostly"
They deliver to my area, which is great, but not everywhere nearby, which is kind of annoying. Like, come on, don’t be stingy with the coverage. Still, for me, it mostly does the job.

"I do like how many different recipes..."
I do like how many different recipes Chefs Plate has every week. We don’t really get bored, and there’s usually something that works for everyone in the house. Some meals are super easy, and others feel a bit more interesting, which I appreciate. I’ve been happy with the choices overall, but when something does go wrong, I’d expect at least a proper apology instead of just acting like it’s no big deal.

"Good meals, but I felt a bit misled"
I’ll be honest, most of the meals I tried from Chefs Plate were actually really tasty. The sauces had good flavor, and the veggies were fresher than I thought they’d be. That said, I did feel a little misled because I expected the meals to be more consistently balanced, and a couple of the recipes were way saltier than I would’ve liked. It wasn’t a dealbreaker, and I still enjoyed that the food didn’t taste bland or boring. Overall, I’m happy with it, but I’m giving 4 stars because the flavors were great most of the time, just not every time.

"Usually leaves me feeling satisfied"
Most nights the portions are good and I feel like I got enough for what I paid. Every now and then they seem a little small, which can be disappointing when I’m really hungry, but overall I’ve been happy with them.

"Such a relief on busy weeks"
When my week gets hectic, this feels like a little lifesaver. I love not having to stand in front of the fridge wondering what to make or drag myself to the store after work. The portions feel just right, and the recipes are easy enough that I don’t get overwhelmed. It just makes me feel more relaxed and on top of things during the week

"Delivery can be hit or miss"
The food is usually good, so no real complaints there, but the delivery timing is all over the place. I’ve had a couple boxes show up late, which is annoying when you’re trying to plan dinner. One time the tracking looked fine and then it suddenly changed last minute, and that part was weird

"Fresher than I expected overall"
I’ve been happy with the quality so far. I wasn’t sure what to expect with delivered ingredients, but most of the veggies and meat have been really fresh and nicely packed. I did get one bag of herbs that looked a little wilted once, but that’s been the only real issue. Overall, it’s been better than I thought it would be.

Had a small issue with one of my orders, so I hit up customer service. They replied fast and got it sorted without turning it into a whole hassle, which I really appreciated. Ngl, I was expecting to be waiting way longer, so that was a nice surprise. Always a win when support is actually easy to deal with lol

I’m usually impatient with stuff like this because canceling anything online can turn into a whole ordeal, but this was done in just a few minutes. No annoying runaround, no back-and-forth, just canceled and moved on.
